Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 5 Part 6 Part 7 Part 8 Part 9
Introduction
From nursery school to kindergarten to elementary school to high school graduation at Hales Franciscan, I was raised as a deeply believing, pre-Vatican II Roman Catholic. And my departure from Catholicism; my departure from the Christian doctrine of atonement did not come about as a result of any external influence. I was isolated, happily so, within “The Body of Christ,” which was, as I was taught, the collective Roman Catholic Church, with its head, the Pope (“Pappa”) as the literal, as any believing Roman Catholic accepted, “Represenative of God on Earth.”
My first soul-crushing experience that, in time, would lead me out of the Roman Catholic Church and religion, as I’ve related in other Substack articles, occurred when I was in the third gard, at Corpus Christi Grammer School, the elementary school that I attended. I borrow from a previous Substack article that I wrote to share that experience:
“It was the third grade, at Corpus Christi Grammar School, at 49th & South Park (today called King Drive), in Chicago. Sister Mary Bernice was teaching catechism in religion class. That day, she’d taught that, “Any person that does not accept The Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior will burn in hell forever.”
“I was very disturbed about that. So, I raised my hand to ask a question: ‘Forgive me Sister, but…’ Back then, in Catholic school, you always began any question with, ‘Forgive me Sister,’ just in case you asked something that Sister Mary might tell you was ‘blasphemous.’ So, you sought forgiveness first, and then you asked your question.
“‘Forgive me, Sister, but what about the people who live on islands, who never heard of Jesus Christ?” With no hesitation, she replied, “They will burn FOREVER!" Instantly, I burst out crying. Did she walk over to me, have me stand up, and give me a big hug to ease my mental anguish? Absolutely not. This was pre-Vatican II Catholicism, the real deal. Instead, she simply turned her back, and continued writing on the blackboard.’”
In the third grade, the word “injustice” was simply not a part of my vocabulary. But, it was certainly embedded in my soul. Time passes. And now in in the 7th Grade, still at Christi. I was staring out of the widown at a beautiful state of The Virgin Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ.
I was steel deeply in love with my religion. But, that moment, for some reason, as I stared at the statue, words came to me that I decided to share with Sister Mary Wencheslaus. I raised my hand. “Yes, my son,” she said. I replied, “Something is missing.” She replied, with a smile, “And what might that be, my son?” I replied, “I do not know. But I will find it.” Obviously puzzled, she replied, “Well, my son, I do hope that you find it.”
Fast forward. I’m now in high school, at Hales Franciscan High School, still in Chicago. I’m sitting in Religion Class, taught by Fr. Angus. The Vatican had changed the rule that said that eating meat on Friday would earn you a mortal sin on your soul. And if you died with a mortal sin on your soul, you would burn in hell forever. Your skin [??!!] would burn off, regrow, burn off again, and that cycle would repeat itself for “all eternity.”
Well, The Vatican had changed the no-eating-meat-on-Friday rule. No longer would eating meat on Friday earn you a mortal sin on your soul, and your chances of avoiding hell were increased. I raised my hand:
ME: “Father, it used to be that if you ate meat on Friday, that was a mortal sin. And if you died before confessing your sin in the Holy Sacrament of Confession, you would burn in hell forever.”
FR. ANGUS: “Yes, my son. That was our doctrine. That was the rule.”
ME: “But now The Vatican changed that. So now, if you eat meat on Friday, it’s okay. You won’t get a mortal sin on your soul.
FR. ANGUS: “Yes, my son, exactly. But what is your concern?”
ME: “Well, Father, I was just wondering: What happens to the people who are burning in hell under the old rule. Now that the rule has changed, will they be let out of hell now?”
I was not trying to be funny. I was truly struggling to try to maintain my Faith in The Universal Holy Roman Catholic Church, God’s religious and spiritual manifestation on earth. It took about three seconds for the question to sink in to the other students in class. Then, they burst out laughing. I didn’t laugh: Fr. Angus was red-faced and clearly angry.
When the intense laughter finally ended, but a couple of students were still snickering, Fr. Angus said, “Are you quite finished, Mr. Chism.” I replied, “Yes, Father.” He shouted, “BLASPHEMY!!! GET OUT!!!! He told me to get out and go sit in the Principal’s office. I was also forced to go to detention, after school, and clean all the damned blackboards in the entire school. It was a big mistake—on their part.
After that, I could not wait for Religion Class. I became virtually a Biblical scholar, pointing out gross errors, interpolations, absurdities, contradictions in the Bible. But, the most important thing that I brought up was the obvious fact, that, according to the Bible itself,
Testimony of the Holy Bible
From the Holy Bible, Luke 24, verses 36-43:
“And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit. And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts? Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet. And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat? And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb. And he took it, and did eat before them.”
Testimony of the Holy Qur’an
The purpose of this series has been to address the eschatological madness that, it seems, may very well be the cause of the end of all life on earth—plant, insect, animal, and human—through a nuclear war sparked by the insane expectations, by Christians, especially Evangelical Christian Zionists, of the “return” of a dead man,Yehoshuwah Ben Maryam (Jesus, son of Mary, more popularly known as “Jesus Christ”) to this earth. I demonstrated, in the series, that this is a very real and extremely dangerous belief, by Evangelical Christian Zionists, who number 70,000,000 and who make up the largest pro-Zionist, pro-”Israel” lobby on earth.
As I included in the other three Parts of this series, here are video documentaries, as well as books, that you can access and that prove that Yehoshuwah Ben Maryam survived the crucifixion physically, traveled to Kashmir, married, had children, lived a normal life, and died a normal death, and was buried in the Kan Yar section of Srinagar, Kashmir, India. A shrine was built over his burial spot. That shrine exists today and is called the Rozabal.

NOTE: This is the first book published on the theory of a post-crucifixion life of Jesus. Although the book is partially tied to the author’s personal claim to be “The Promised Messiah & Mahdi,” this book is must reading. The Lost Years of Jesus - 432 p. (Elizabeth Clare Prophet)
NOTE: This books examines the theory that Jesus spent those “lost years” of his life that are not accounted for in the Bible in “the Orient.” Some researchers, such as Ms. Prophet, believe that Jesus, between the ages of 13 and 29, went to India only before the crucifixion, some believe only after the crucifixion, and some believe both before and after the crucifixion. Ms. Prophet says that Jesus traveled to India, Nepal, Ladakh, and Tibet.
