The Vast and Vital Importance of Intuition and Intuition Development
Three Case Studies, including one from BodyTalk
This introduction, and the entire article, is designed to encourage you—for your holistic well-being through the safety of your mind, body, and soul—to learn to trust, develop, and follow your intuition. I moved this article to my Substack Home Page, where it will remain, because I consider it the most important of the 201 submissions that I have posted at Substack thus far. Substack stats rate this article as one of the most popular of the articles that I’ve placed at Substack. It was first written and posted to Substack on November 17th, 2022.
You are under constant, relentless attack by very determined (a determination easily matching the level of religious belief or religious fanaticism) people/entities. You can believe, of course, whatever you wish. But you are under constant attack. I do not have the time, unfortunately, nor the skills necessary to elaborate, in detail, on a level that would be to my satisfaction, the need for you to fight these forces by first taking charge of your life. The below article is the best that I can do.
Here is a list of enemies—some being institutions; some being ideas/ideologies—that want you either dead or under total control (in my humble or not-so-humble opinion):
The World “Health” Organization (Yeah, perhaps the irony of ironies)
Globalism
Singularity (Look it up. I have a three-part Substack series on Singularity)
The World Economic Forum
“The Deep State,” which, in the ‘60s and ‘70s, we called “The System”
Global religious institutions (one in particular) that AREN’T religious
The Mainstream Media, otherwise known as “The Legacy Media.”
Big Tech (including the NERDS that want you chipped and robotized)
Liberalism (as it’s been called), whose actual goal is to destroy the independent significance and immense value of personal identity, a goal opposite, obviously, of its surface claims. Here are a few components:
Woke-ism
LGBTQism
Transgenderism (Yeah, I know: It’s the ‘T’ part of LGBTQ. But, it’s now earning a growing number of enemies amongst the LGBQ folks, who now want to distance themselves from the ‘T’ folks. Also, Transgenderism now has its own power, unfortunately, which I hope, one day, will be stomped out of existence. That day is coming).
That ends this Introduction. Good luck!!!
DISCLAIMER: Any specific examples that I mention in this article with regard to healthcare are not to be interpreted as my recommending the reader’s acceptance of the use of a particular healthcare modality, the use of a particular healthcare practitioner (or non-healthcare practitioner), or the use of any particular healthcare treatment offered by any particular healthcare modality. This article is designed to share information. It is up to the reader himself or herself to decide how to take care of their healthcare.
I am instinctively averse to “theories.” In the two books I’ve written, Uncle Tom’s Uncle, and Uncle Tom’s Uncle, Second Edition, as well as a portion of my articles here at Substack, I rely heavily on my experience in 73 years of life on planet earth. I feel that when the results of an experience prove valid, especially when that experience is repeated and those valid results are duplicated, then I speak with authority.
Although I am not going to speak about the now almost myriad controversies surrounding what is called the “Covid Pandemic,” I strongly urge the reader to obtain an account with Spotify, so that you can watch Spotify’s podcast No. 1757, in which Joe Rogan interviews Dr. Robert Malone about the deep problems surrounding the handling of the Covid Pandemic.
I think that the interview may give you an appreciation for this article regarding the importance, as I believe, of you being the first person that you contact regarding issues surrounding your health. The interview is three hours long and well worth every second. After you obtain your account and pull up podcast No. 1757, you’ll see this interface:
Then, use your mouse to hover over that weird “The Joe Rogan Experience” icon in the right, lower corner. You will then see expand arrows appear:
Click the arrows to expand to full screen, and you will see the start arrow at the bottom, center of the screen. Click that and you will see Joe Rogan interviewing Dr. Malone, in person.
In this article I’m going to give three examples of how my intuition played a heavy role in my ability to heal myself, as well as others, of serious ailments. My primary purpose is to impart to you the importance of you learning how to trust, and then, use your intuition. I think the third and last example, from the healthcare modality that I studied and practiced, BodyTalk, is the most fascinating one, and is a much more direct example of the reality, importance, power, and use of intuition in your life.
THE BLOOD DISEASE THAT MEDICAL DOCTORS SAID WAS THERE, BUT DIDN’T KNOW WHAT IT WAS—WHATEVER THE F*CK THAT MEANS
The year was 1972. I was just 22 years old. It was time for my wife and I to take our children in for a check-up. Everything was fine with my son. But when the doctors checked my daughter, one of them came out to the waiting room and said to us, “Well, we have disturbing news.” Don’t you just hate that sh*t?? I suppose there’s no other way for them to speak. But, I think I’d prefer, “Mr. and Mrs. Chism, your daughter has a blood disease.” I’ll know, then, that the news is “disturbing.”
Well, anyway, I said, “Well, what is this disease,” my heart, naturally, beating faster. Now, I want you, the reader, to prepare yourself, and ask yourself (not me!!) if this makes any damned sense whatsoever! He says to me, “We don’t know. But, we want you to try this experimental [EXPERIMENTAL, READER!!!!!!!!!!!!] medicine.”
Three problems: FIRST, I’m about to put my fist in his face!! Second, I’m thinking, “How do you diagnose a disease and recommend experimental medicine, yet not know what the hell it is??!!” Third—and, back then, I was a “stomp down,” hardcore, “Black revolutionary”—I’m thinking, “This dude is telling me, a Black man, that he wishes to EXPERIMENT on my Black daughter!! Let the congregation shout, ‘TUSKEGEE!!!!!’”
I immediately said to him, “What med school did you go to?? You should go get a REFUND!!” I was a hothead back then, and the entire country was up in smoke, damn near, as it still is today, for various reasons. Then, slickly, he looks at my wife. She looks at me, and says, “Well, he’s the doctor. We should trust him.” I didn’t say this out loud to her, but I thought, “No sh*t?!”
Now they both were staring at me, my wife with a pleading look. Although Second Wave feminism had started in the ‘60s, I just wasn’t buying it. So, my wife, and the doctor, were at my mercy. I looked into her eyes. What could I do? I sighed, and said, “Well…How long do we have to give her this medicine.” He answered, “We want you to try it for at least a month, although if the treatment is efficacious it should take care of the problem within no more than two weeks.” WHAT problem??!! They didn’t even know what the f’n problem WAS!!
Well, we left with the “medicine” and went home. We gave her the medicine for the recommended 30 days. Then we took her back to the hospital for the check-up. He comes out again with a somber look, and says, “Well, Mr. Chism, I’m sorry to say that it didn’t work.” I go, “Well, what now?” This dude said to me, “We want you to try it again.” 🤬🤬🤬 He had told me that if the medicine worked, it would work within two weeks. It didn’t WORK!! Though a hothead, this time I held it down, looked at my wife, who was again “pleading” with me through the expression on her face. I took the medicine and we split.
When I got home, my wife said that she had to visit her mom for a while. I’d placed the medicine on our bedroom dresser, and went to the living room to just sit. I was feeling weak. I’m her father. Daddy’s little girl is ill, and the f’n doctors don’t know what the hell they’re doing. I sat there literally for a couple of hours. Then my mind went into what I suppose was a state of meditation, although, at that time, I was way, way too hardcore to even think about any formal meditation. The best way to describe it, I guess, is that I just got quiet inside.
After about two hours, I stood up, walked to the bedroom, grabbed the medicine, walked to the washroom, opened the top to the medicine, and poured it into the toilet. I said to myself, verbally, “I’m going to fix this!!” Well, just my [bad] luck: My wife arrived back to the crib just as the last drops were dropping into the toilet. She goes, “WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!!! You tryna kill my daughter!!!” Her daughter. I’m sure at least some male readers are familiar with the “my son” and “my daughter” mantra from mothers, except if “my son” or “my daughter” does something bad, then they’re “your son” or “your daughter!”
“I’m going to fix her myself.” Back in the day—the 1960s and 1970s—Americans were turning inward. I don’t know if this was because of the Vietnam War, or what. But, eebody and dey mamma, as we’d say in the hood, were experimenting with all kinds of things: illicit drugs like LSD, bulk-food shopping, “health food,” homeopathy, alternative media [no Internet back then, but plenty of underground newspapers], communal living, pumping one’s own water from springs, etc.
My current wife of 33 years, and I, still pump our water from a natural spring. You can find the nearest natural spring to you at findaspring.com. Back in the day, nobody who had half a brain cell trusted “The System” [think, Deep State] anymore, and everybody—White, Black, Male, Female—were trying to do all in their power to detach themselves from it. Well, by “everybody” I simply mean lots of people.
I and some friends started a food co-op that saved its members 67% on their grocery bills. There used to be a ton of wholesale produce facilities all down Randolph Street, west of downtown Chicago, where you could purchase a 50-lb sack of carrots, for instance, for between $5 and $8, depending on how well you could haggle with vendors. We’d shop for produce—cabbage, carrots, lettuce, green beans, corn, etc—purchasing it wholesale, then take it back to a storefront we’d rented for our independent pre-school for children, and divide the produce up between the members based on the amount they’d wanted. I think based on weight; on ounces.
There was a counterculture, large catalogue called The Whole Earth Catalogue. It featured all kinds of old-fashioned, do-it-yourself tools and machines you could use to be self-sufficient, as well as clothing, seeds, books and things that you could no longer find on the general market. If you didn’t have a copy of The Whole Earth Catalogue, you were a stone square and “still in The System.” And it was not good to be “in The System.” The Catalogue was 11x14 inches, and contained probably about 400 pages. It was a monster!! Great book.
Anyway, the notion of self-sufficiency, back then, infused the atmosphere of the ‘60s and ‘70s. And, no, it was not just a “Hippie thing.” A section of the Black community was just as deep into alternative living as were the White Hippies or anyone else. It was a common culture. So, the decision I made, in a way, was not unusual. Well, I suppose it was a bit unusual, considering that I’d decided to fix Soyini, my daughter, of a blood disease myself.
I decided to administer to Yeenee (Soyini’s nickname) a tea, every day, made of 31 different blood-purifying herbs listed in that classic herb book, first published in the year 1939, Back to Eden, written by Jethro Kloss. I steeped those 31 herbs for 24 hours, not 5 minutes. In addition, I purchased a juicer, juiced carrots, and gave her carrot juice to drink, which she loved, as much as she wanted.
Why? Carrot juice was not the color of blood, but close enough. Not very “doctorly,” I know. When I noticed her fingernails turning orange, I decreased the amount of carrot juice I let her drink throughout the day. I knew nothing of Vitamin A poisoning at that time, but used common sense, intuition, and close monitoring of her. She hated the herb drink, but it was “medicine,” so she had to take it throughout the day.
Call it youthful madness or whatever one wishes. All I knew is that daddy’s little girl was not going out like that, from some strange disease that she had contracted, but that doctors didn’t know what it was—whatever the hell that meant! I administered the tea and the carrot juice to her for a month, then took her back to the hospital.
The doctors examined her, came out with her gleefully, and said, “We did it!” We. “We” hadn’t done sh*t. I had done it. Her blood disease had vanished. I had not given that “medicine” to her. I had flushed it down the toilet.
By the way, Kramer’s Healthfood Store, in downtown Chicago, had 30 of the 31 herbs that I needed. Being the “fanatic” that I was, I would not go forward until I got that last herb. So, I’d asked the store clerk, who was very knowledgeable about herbs and other treatments, how I could get that last herb. He said, “Hold on,” and started dialing the phone. He’d called the Indiana Botanic Gardens, located in Hammond, Indiana. And they told him that they carried that herb. I drove there and purchased the last of the 31 herbs that I wanted. Here are the herbs that I’d purchased:
Bittersweet, Blue cohosh, burdock, chickweed, dandelion, elder, fire weed, gentian root, hyssop, nettle, prickly ash, red clover, sanicle, sassafras, sorrel, spikenard, St.-Johns’wort, turkey corn, white clover, yellow dock, borage, cleavers, echinacea, blue flag, wild Oregon grape, fringe tree, poke root (greens), holy thistle, dandelion, elecampane, sarsaparilla.
That same wife of mine that had hollered, “You tryna kill my daughter!!!” was now on the telephone, calling eebody and dey mamma—her mother, sisters, friends—bragging, “Girl, Abu cured our daughter!!” “Our” daughter.
THE RECONNECTION AND MY WIFE’S RLS (RESTLESS-LEG) SYNDROME
The 1960s and 1970s was a time of mind expansion, one might say. It was a time when people had fewer sources of information yet performed more studying and stretching out than is done today, even though we have The Internet. That’s my personal opinion, from having observed, today, how people choose to believe narratives rather than check things out for themselves. That ‘60s and ‘70s vibe stuck with me until this day; until my third marriage (Hey, I’m just as much an American as anybody else!!)
Long before I married my wife, 33 years ago, she had suffered from something called Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS), also called Willis-Ekbom Disease. From an NIH article:
“Restless legs syndrome (RLS), also called Willis-Ekbom Disease, causes unpleasant or uncomfortable sensations in the legs and an irresistible urge to move them. Symptoms commonly occur in the late afternoon or evening hours, and are often most severe at night when a person is resting, such as sitting or lying in bed.”
This problem was a problem for both of us, because her legs would involuntarily start shaking in the middle of the night, and there was nothing, that we knew of, that could cure it. So sleep deprivation became somewhat of a problem. Well, somehow—and neither one of us can remember how—in 2003 we ran into a book entitled The Reconnection, by Eric Pearl. For 14 years of the marriage, we both had been suffering from her RLS problem.
Eric Pearl had a weird experience, and you can read the details on your own in his book. He was a Chiropractor who had a Los Angeles practice. One day, his secretary convinced him to take a break and go out to the beach. There [Get ready!!] there was a Roma (aka, Gypsy) in a tent, who was a Reader and Advisor, and she was giving Tarot Card reads. Pearl’s secretary thought it would be good fun to get a reading, which Pearl, at first, didn’t want to do, but then decided to go along with it.
After the reading, the Roma told Pearl that she had “something else” that she could do for him: reconnect him to a “grid” that human beings had once been connected to, but, somehow, thousands of years ago, we’d gotten disconnected from. She claimed that she could “reconnect” him. The reader can check this out yourself, but I think she told him that it was 200,000 years ago that we got disconnected from some grid.
Pearl decided to go along with it, though he didn’t really believe it. Then, some strange occurrences happened back at his Chiropractic office, and you can read about that yourselves also. He discovered that he could use Reconnection Therapy to heal others. He also discovered that he could Reconnect others to that grid, and people all over the country began to become “Reconnected.” Reconnection Therapists appeared all over the place. I had the sense; the feeling; the intuition that The Reconnection was real. So, my wife and I, both being refugees from the ‘60s, decided to get Reconnected.
We were Reconnected by a female Chicago lawyer and were also taught how to perform Reconnection Therapy. And after decades and decades of my wife, Morna, suffering from RLS, I performed one session of Reconnection Therapy on her, doing nothing but circling my hands over her body, from head to toe, and repeating that over and over again for 30 minutes. From that moment onward, her RLS vanished forever. So, she has been free of RLS for 19 years, up to this very day.
BODYTALK
I’m going to get right into this without giving any history. My wife and I took our BodyTalk courses back in the year 2013, and we both became BodyTalk Practitioners, administering to clients who had health issues. BodyTalk is a consciousness-based healthcare modality that uses a non-instrument form of biofeedback to communicate with the “Innate Wisdom” of the bodymind complex, using a chart called The Advanced BodyTalk Protocol Chart. To expand that chart to see its many parts closely, press down the Ctrl key and then tap the plus sign on your keyboard as many times as it takes to expand the chart to your satisfaction, although the chart below should be large enough for you to see all parts of the Protocol Chart.
One woman, an old friend of mine, had told me that she had suffered from back pain for 23 years. She’d been to medical doctors, Chiropractic practitioners, Acupuncturists, but no one could help her. I told her that, if she wished, I would conduct a BodyTalk session with her. She agreed.
I’ll try to explain what I call the “navigation and communication” process, i.e., the navigation down the Protocol Chart, as well as the communication with “Innate” that occurs as one navigates the Chart, which is the attempt to discover the source or sources of the problem, and then “tap out” in the hopes that the problem will be solved, either instantly or, usually, and more likely, over a period of generally no more than a few weeks. I have to be careful to not explain everything, as this is planet earth, and some a**hole who reads this might be tempted to sell himself as a BodyTalk Practitioner and rip people off of their dough. So, the only way to learn BodyTalk is to take BodyTalk courses.
There is a natural and non-instrument way that a BT Practitioner communicates with “Innate” and receives Yes/No answers to questions asked of Innate. This method is taught in BodyTalk classes. The purpose of this communication is to receive answers from the client’s “Innate” so that, eventually, the source of the ailment is discovered, and then a “tap out” procedure takes place that begins the healing process. As the founder of BodyTalk, Dr. John Veiltheim, has explained, sometimes the BodyMind complex, specifically the brain (although there’s a “stomach brain” and a “heart brain” also) loses track of the literally trillions of things within the BodyMind complex that need to stay in harmony. The job of a BodyTalk Practitioner is to help Innate find those things, and bring them back into balance and harmony.
So, here I reproduce the BodyTalk session I conducted with my friend and client. We start at the top of the Protocol Chart at “Permissions.”

Here are the results of the one session the client had had with me:
CLIENT FOLLOW-UP FEEDBACK
“Five days after the session, on January 25th, 2014, I called the client to ask about her overall health. She said that she had had no back pain for the last three or four days. She also stated that, two days ago, January 23rd, 2014, she experienced a sensation in the “area of concern,” as she stated, meaning her reproductive area.
“I explained to her my opinion that that sensation was a reflection of the re-balancing that the bodymind complex was doing, due to the re-establishment of an energetic connection between the left ovary and the uterus.”
FURTHER CLIENT FOLLOW UP, THREE YEARS LATER (June 14th, 2017)
“Three years later, on June 14th, 2017, I emailed the client to ask her permission to use her client feedback of her BodyTalk session that she had had three years earlier as a testimonial. She gave me that permission. I asked her if she was still free of back pain, and she answered: “I have not had any recurring back pains”
Now, again: BodyTalk is an holistic, consciousness-based healthcare modality. No physician was able to help her. Physicians are great for what they’re trained for. If you’re in an accident, and your leg is cut off, don’t call me. You’ll need a surgeon. A Physician simply is not trained as a consciousness-based healthcare practitioner is trained. No medical doctor could have identified the source of the problem, because the problem was beyond their ability to deal with. Here are some of my summary notes to myself, and that I’d spoken with the client about:
“After the session, the client was curious as to what had been discovered. I simply told her that her bodymind complex apparently wished to make some kind of connection between her left ovary and uterus. The client gasped, then relayed the following to me.
“Three months after she birthed her child, 23 years ago, she started experiencing severe back pain. She went to the doctors and they discovered an ectopic pregnancy in her left Fallopian tube. The embryo had eventually burst her left Fallopian tube, so they took that tube out. Thus, there was no longer a physical or energetic connection between her left ovary and her uterus, and this, obviously, was very, very confirming as regards the formula that Innate had unveiled during the session. Clearly, Innate wanted to reestablish an energetic connection between the left ovary and the uterus, as the physical connection between them had been severed.”
“Secondly, while the doctors were removing her left Fallopian tube, they discovered that a fibroid had grown within her right ovary. So they removed her right ovary. This also was very confirming of this session, because when I had queried Innate whether the item was the right ovary, Innate said No, and indicated that the item was the left ovary. The right ovary did not exist. There was no way I could have known that, because I had no knowledge of her childbirth history. Innate had led me to the correct focus—the left ovary.”
Now, to this day, I have no idea why the absence of the left Fallopian tube would have caused back pain. But, through my training I’d learned the process of using the consciousness-based methods of BodyTalk to uncover and then resolve the source of the problem. No physician could have reached inside a person’s body to “feel” whether or not an “energetic link” existed that had replaced the Fallopian tube that had been removed. Also, who could have determined that an “energetic link” could be created that would replace the physical Fallopian Tube link and then permanently remove the back pain? Yet, we’re expected to actually believe that one healthcare modality, Allopathic medicine, knows all answers. Nonsense.
Every BodyTalk practitioner discovers something very, very fascinating, and it can sometimes happen even in one’s first course, when one pairs up to practice on another student. Sometimes, you’ll get what’s called a “pop up.” For example, after Permissions, rather than asking, “Is Section 1 a Priority,” your mind/heightened intuition will intervene and tell you, “Body Chemistry.” Experience in BodyTalk strengthens one’s natural intuition. So, instead of going down the Protocol Chart spine, you will follow what your mind/intuition told you and go directly to Section 4 (see the chart) where the first item is “Body Chemistry.” Then you will ask, “Is Body Chemistry a Priority,” and you will get the answer “Yes.” Then, “Further More Specific,” and you’d carry on.
Well, why and how does your mind intervene in the normal process? Because your intuition has become strengthened. The BodyTalk instructor that I had, as well as the BodyTalk Practitioner I’d go to for a session on myself, would get pop ups often. The more you practice on clients, the stronger your ability to communicate with Innate becomes, with your mind intervening so that the process can be speeded up. For me, this was the first time that an old saying was directly confirmed for me: “People don’t trust their intuition.” Also, we don’t use it. We ignore it. So, how can it get strengthened if we don’t trust it and use it? And, in my humble (or not so humble) opinion, we have given too much of ourselves over to everyone else EXCEPT ourselves.
Incidentally, the questions I asked of Innate are questions that I ask silently, in my mind. I don’t verbalize any of the questions asked as I navigate the Protocol Chart. The standard, specific biofeedback way that an answer that I get from Innate occurs in a manner that I will not explain in this article, the reason being to prevent some a**hole from faking that he’s a BodyTalk Practitioner. One has to be trained in BodyTalk to know how to completely communicate with Innate. There is more than one component needed, and I have not explained everything.
Now, I’ll summarize. If you read my article entitled, Conspiracy theory or gedankenexperiment? Black folks (or any folks) beware!!, you would have viewed the video there at the top of the article. Even if you don’t read the article, go there and view that video. And if, after viewing that video, you are still one of those people that puts his or her entire trust in the medical/pharmaceutical industry, rather than using your own intellect; your own abilities to research; your own abilities to think and to ponder; your own intuition, then you are doing yourself a disservice.
I have not claimed, nor would I claim, that you don’t need physicians. I am saying that you have plenty enough tools inside of you to first perform some legwork that might save you a lot of problems (and a lot of money) in the short and long run. If you’ve determined that you need an Allopathic professional to deal with your situation, that’s fine. But, open yourself to yourself, and you might find powers that you didn’t know existed within you.
I am very fond of using a saying of Sandy Berger, former National Security Advisor to President Bill Clinton: “This ain’t no playpen out here.” He was saying that our world is not a world for children or weak-minded people. This is a world where an entire industry sees you as nothing more than an object in its marketing scheme. That’s it. We live, unfortunately, in a corrupt world, where it is absolutely mandatory for you to be above average in your ability to take care of yourself.
That doesn’t mean that you have to be a healthcare specialist. What it means is that you’re not average, in the sense that you’re not sitting up watching TV all day, never asking questions, and just going along with everything you’re told by the mainstream media, Big Tech, your politicians, and even, sometimes (I’m so sorry to say) your religious leaders, such as the Pope himself, who….Well, if you want to know about the Pope, check out the Traditionalist Catholics at TheRemnantVideo (especially), and Church Militant. There are others, but those two, especially TheRemnantVideo, are the most important. And no, I’m not Catholic, nor am I any kind of Christian. I use a wide variety of resources, and you should too, if you can.
During the Pandemic, I noticed that a couple of big religious leaders, including the Pope. were dishing out what I call “misinformation.” And I do not use that term as the mainstream uses it. I’m sure you can tell, by the very nature of this article, how I think.
So, that’s it. Please be very careful. There is no authority who is more an authority over you than you are. You are the primary authority over yourself. You are the authority who allows specialists, if you wish, to give you their opinions. Take care!
Hi, I found your article here from your link on Dr. Paul Alexander's Substack. Thank you for sharing your experiences and wisdom. I liked your stories of healing and read some of your other articles, as well.
Can I ask you a few questions?...
Do you have any intuitions on the Covid Vax that's harming people and how to cure it?
Are you still doing healing now?
You studied a lot of religions. What's your current practice now? Subud?
If the African-American part of Chicago was doing so well before the 1960's what happened that made it become so violent now?
