This is from the era when "sense" was common...it is so rare now.

Wow, that says it all. It don't make sense to those of us who can make the comparison, but it makes a lot of sense to the Banksters. They don't make money when there is peace.

Yep. When I got grown, my father and my big brother told me that they had felt that I would never live past 15, I think it was. They felt that because they were, of course, fully aware of what a horrible world this could be. I was very inward--used to sit in the closet, in the dark (Mom and Dad broke up when I was five). They didn't think I'd make it.

I just made 3/4 of a century old last week. I look, and I wonder how I lived this long. Grace of God, I guess. This place DOES trip me out, Nana. But, I guess I must be doing something right [or wrong. LOL!!!]

That's what made being part of the Catholic world, for me, cool. They had everything packaged. There was a system. And bad guys were taken care of, on TV, by Bat Masterson, Superman, Robin Hood, Sugarfoot, Roy and Dale Rogers, Jim Bowie, Maverick, Annie Oakley [She could stand up on a fast-galloping horse, and shoot a bullet--accurately--through an Ace of Spades playing card],

Matt Dillon, Davey Crocket ["King of the wild frontier!!"], Rifleman, Buffalo Bill Jr., The Cisco Kid, Colt .45, Paladin, Wyatt Earp, etc.

Then I grew up. (Sh*t!!)
